Giving Project To Benefit the Young Families Served by
Emergency
Infant Services
You are
invited to adopt a young family in need. Emergency Infant Services is a
Tulsa-based not-for-profit agency geared to address the essential needs
of infants and children through the age of 5, belonging to families
facing a temporary financial hardship. These young families are
struggling to provide for the bare essentials and extravagant meals and
the newest toys for their children are a luxury they simply cannot
enjoy. With your help, we can provide these families with all the
ingredients for a bountiful holiday.
Adopt-A-Family is an ideal project for a group of employees, associates
or friends, or an individual, community-minded family. Emergency Infant
Services provides detailed information on the needs of a deserving
family. Families may be as small as a single “Mom” and one child or as
large as a two-parent household with six children. You would be asked
to purchase and wrap one to three gifts for each person in the family,
including adults, as well as a food basket. You would be able to
deliver the gifts and meal to your family which is a wonderful
opportunity to see the family’s joy and excitement firsthand! Or your
gifts can be delivered to Emergency Infant Services by December 18th
and our staff can ensure that your gifts reach the family.
You can
participate at any level:
- Adopt
a family and provide them with gifts and a meal.

Provide a food basket for a young family.
- Don’t
have time to do all the shopping. We also accept cash donations or
gift certificates.
We suggest
that food baskets include a $25 gift certificate to a local supermarket
(that can be used for perishables such as meats and pies) and an
assortment of non-perishable foods. Below are suggestions for
items to go into the food basket:
